NEW COURSES STARTING OCTOBER/NOVEMBER 2022

I have three new Zoom courses starting late October/Early November 2022 and running until late March 2023.

All courses are of a duration of 16 sessions of 90 minutes each.  For each session I will suggest activities for homework either as a follow-up to the session or as preparation for the next session.  This will include some written work for you to email me to receive maximum of six participants for each course. French for Beginners

Mondays 19:00-20:30 (UK time), starting 31st October.

​

This course is for beginners.  You will need to buy a copy of the course book "Facon de Parler Book 1", 6th edition, by Angela Aries and Dominique Debney.  In addition to the textbook I will provide additional resources.

Intermediate French

Tuesdays 19:00-20:30 (UK time), starting 1st November.

​

For this course you should be able to deal in French with everyday situations such as shopping, asking directions, ordering in cafes etc .  You should have an understanding of some basic grammar, including the present tense and be ready to move onto more advanced use of language. You will need to buy a copy of the course book "Facon de Parler Book 2", 5th edition, by Angela Aries and Dominique Debney.  In addition to the textbook I will provide additional resources.

Speaking, Reading and Listening

Wednesdays 19:00-20:30 (UK time), starting 2nd November.

​

For this course you should have a good knowledge of grammar and be confident dealing with most everyday situations.  We will focus on improving listening skills, confidence, conversation, pronunciation and vocabulary using material covering a variety of topics.  There is no textbook for this course and all materials will be provided.  We will do some grammar revision on a regular basis.
